Forgiveness is vital. Sounds like the grey area, right? You could view it that way, but I feel it's important to differentiate. Things can exist within the grey area and be things you wouldn't forgive someone for.

In my absolutely ancient age, I've found that life gets better when you let go. There's no need to hold on to hostility or resentment or jealousy, these only serve to hurt you. Not to say they're things I don't feel, quite the opposite. I'm a hostile, resentful, jealous prick, I'm not enlightened in any sense. But the important part, to me at least, is to acknowledge that and move on, and not hold it against anyone. That's what I'd want done for me. Kinda sounds like my second law now, doesn't it? Interesting.

The world is full of enough rage and regret. It doesn't breed healthy people. If you hold on to these feelings, they will kill you. You can't have a life worth living if the only things you feel are pain. Let go.
